Sherrica is an Associate Lecturer Deakin’s School of Psychology and is also a registered Organisational Psychologist. Her teaching focuses on career development, managing wellbeing and leadership development, in addition to chairing the Psychology at Work Internship unit. Sherrica also works as a Senior Consultant at Opposite, an organisational psychology consulting firm specialising in creating human-centred design experiences and simplification of work, to help improve workplaces across industries. She has worked as both an Academic and a Consultant for over 5 years.
Ms Denniss is a Lecturer and Research Fellow at Deakin University. Emily has worked at Deakin for the last eight years in a range of teaching and research roles and submitted her PhD thesis in 2023. Her area of research focuses on health and nutrition communication and misinformation in online environments.
Sarah is a Senior Adviser WIL for the Faculty of Health at Deakin University. She facilitates the administrative process for non-clinical undergraduate and postgraduate placement units within the Faculty. Sarah brings to the role years of experience working across the not-for-profit community sector as well as in education in student support. Sarah has experience supervising students on placement as well as in volunteer and staff recruitment, management, and support.
Lauren is a WIL Coordinator for the Faculty of Health at Deakin University with a background in the community services and non-profit sector. She facilitates non-clinical industry experiences and graduate employment initiatives to enhance students’ career opportunities.
Shufen is an accomplished professional with demonstrated strategic leadership in driving initiatives and delivering outcomes in tertiary education. In her current role as the WIL Manager, she develops and implements strategies and programs to support the faculty’s WIL and global learning programs, enhancing students’ graduate employability.

Dr Taylor is a Lecturer at Deakin University and is Co-Course Director of the Bachelor of Public Health/Health Promotion. Patricia has been a researcher and teacher in the tertiary sector for 11 years. She leads the Australian Health Promoting University Network and is the Australian representative on the International Health Promoting Campuses Steering Committee.

Dr George is a passionate, driven and highly adaptable early career academic and researcher who is experienced in managing students with varied backgrounds. A proud Deakin Alumna, she started teaching at Deakin in 2018 and is a Lecturer with the School of Health and Social Development at Deakin University.Dr George is currently the Unit Chair for ‘HSH303 – Health Practicum’ which is a capstone WIL unit that supports undergraduate health students in developing relevant professional and personal skills required to work in their sector. Her area of research focuses on advancing food and nutrition public policy while facilitating equity in health care.

Unit Chair of Psychology at Work
Elizabeth is a Lecturer in Deakin’s School of Psychology, where her teaching focuses on workplace readiness, including chairing the Psychology at Work Internship unit. She is also a registered psychologist, completing her endorsement in Organisational Psychology and working with Transitioning Well, an organsational psychology consulting firm specialising in the messy interface between work and life, where she has worked for 8 years.
